N-acetyltransferase
Overview
Saccharomyces cerevisiae sigma 1278b has novel genes of the N-acetyltransferase gene superfamily required for L-proline analogue resistance.
The study identified two novel genes, MPR1 and MPR2, belonging to the N-acetyltransferase superfamily, which are required for resistance to l-proline analogues in Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain sigma 1278b.
