phosphoglucomutase
Overview
Phosphoglucomutase of Yersinia pestis is required for autoaggregation and polymyxin B resistance.
The study identifies pgmA as a gene required for autoaggregation and polymyxin B resistance in Yersinia pestis. Deletion of pgmA leads to increased sensitivity to polymyxin B, and this defect can be restored by complementation with pgmA.
