Key Findings

The study identified several AMR genes including aadA1, aadB, aadA2, dhfr1, sat1, and blaTEM-1 in multidrug-resistant Proteus mirabilis isolates from retail meat products. Mutations in gyrA and parC were also linked to nalidixic acid resistance.
